He currently serves as a legal consultant to a Canadian Mortgage Investment Corporation, where he advises on lending and investment transactions, mortgage enforcement matters, and complex commercial legal issues involving funds exceeding CAD 50 million. Prior to his consulting role, Nimish served as in-house counsel for a Canadian Mortgage Investment Corporation, gaining extensive experience in mortgage lending, secured financing, real estate transactions, and investor-related legal matters. He also brings substantial private practice experience, having advised corporations, investors, lenders, and individuals on a wide range of transactional, regulatory, estate planning, and dispute-resolution matters. Known for his practical commercial judgment, solution-oriented approach, and strong stakeholder communication skills, Nimish focuses on delivering pragmatic legal advice that aligns with business objectives and commercially effective outcomes. Nimish holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, a Master of Corporate Law and Governance from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in New Delhi, and both a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
